What the photos do not capture is the noise—the non-stop cheering from the sidelines and the buzz in our cafe after the races. We focus on building confidence rather than cutthroat competition, so you will see everyone from first-time learners to our advanced batch taking the plunge with a smile and a lot of support from the rest of the members. Our Swimming Gala is the highlight of the year at The Float House. While we are known as a social club in Mulund West, this event is where we see the real results of our coaching programs. Whether it is a toddler making their first independent lap or an adult student perfecting their freestyle, this day is all about celebrating the journey, not just the race. ### Why Our Gala is Different We do not run a standard, high-pressure competition. Our indoor, temperature-controlled facility allows us to host these events regardless of the weather outside. Because our pool is ozonized and comfortably heated, the kids can focus on their technique rather than shivering or worrying about chlorine irritation. ### Join the Community If you have been looking for a swimming academy that feels more like a hangout spot, this is it. Our gala participants are just regular members who started with us in our group batches or intensive swim camps. We maintain small student-to-coach ratios to ensure every swimmer gets the attention they need to progress safely. From infant aquatic sessions to adult technique refinement, we ensure that swimming becomes a lifelong skill you actually enjoy, rather than a chore on your fitness list. If you missed out on the action this year, stop by for a trial session and get a feel for the energy—we are always welcoming new swimmers to the family. ## About The Float House We are not a serious, drill-sergeant type of coaching center. At The Float House, we think swimming is a life skill that is meant to be enjoyed, whether you are six months old or sixty. Come over, grab a coffee, and watch how our members turn into water babies.
