This is not a polished mall restaurant, but a green, breezy backyard space that feels like a quiet corner of old Bangalore. If you are planning a sunset date, request a table near the bamboo screens—the lighting hits the greenery just right as the day winds down. ### From Bright Afternoons to Starry Nights When the sun is up, our space is all about lazy brunches and quiet work-from-cafe sessions. The sunlight filters through the canopy, and it feels like you are sitting in a friend's garden rather than the middle of Whitefield. It is the perfect spot for a casual lunch where the only sound is the breeze and the occasional wagging tail from our furry guests. ### Why the Vibe Shifts After Dark As the clock ticks past 7 PM, we dim the lights, light the candles, and the space completely transforms. It becomes our 'serene green oasis'—intimate, quiet, and perfect for when you actually want to hear what your date is saying. We keep the music strictly retro blues and rock, matching the moody, garden-at-night atmosphere. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary or just need a quiet place to unwind, the shift from day to night is part of the experience. ### A Little Practicality Because we are an outdoor venue, we are at the mercy of the elements, but we have designed the space to be comfortable regardless. We rely on natural ventilation and the lush surroundings to keep things cool. If you are coming with a large group or have a specific pet, let us know beforehand so we can reserve the right corner for you. ## About The Fat Chef We are The Fat Chef. We grew up loving the old Bangalore—the one with big trees, slow afternoons, and neighbors you actually know. That is exactly what we have tried to recreate here in the middle of Whitefield.
