You learn, perform, and often film a complete routine in just one or two sessions. Even in these drop-in classes, we prioritize the Ashley Lobo method, ensuring that you focus on breath, technique, and honest movement rather than just mimicking steps. Whether you are looking to refine your technique, learn a new style, or simply find an expressive outlet, our workshops serve as a concentrated burst of training. We host regular sessions across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Pune, covering everything from intense Jazz and Contemporary technique to high-energy Hip Hop and Open Choreo. ### Why Join Our Workshops? * **Technique First:** Unlike generic drop-in classes that focus only on copying steps, we integrate our core methodology. You will learn how to breathe, move with intent, and understand the mechanics behind the choreography. * **Performance Focus:** Many of our workshops, including our popular Summer Programs, are designed with a performance outcome in mind. We believe that learning is accelerated when you have a stage goal to work toward. * **Expert Faculty:** You will be trained by our senior instructors or guest artists who follow the same curriculum that powers our professional certificate programs. ### What to Expect Our workshops cater to different needs: * **Open Choreo Classes:** Perfect if you want to learn a routine in a single session. We focus on Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, and Afro styles. These are great for adding variety to your repertoire. * **Technical Intensives:** These workshops dive deep into Ballet or Contemporary basics, focusing on alignment, floor work, and strength. These are ideal if you want to bridge the gap between hobbyist and serious student. * **Special Collaborations:** We frequently partner with institutions like the Kailash Kher Academy to bring dance education to new neighborhoods, offering complimentary and open-level introductory classes. ### Locations and Scheduling We operate studios in major localities across Mumbai, including Andheri, Bandra, and Gamdevi, as well as across Delhi and Gurugram. Workshops are listed with specific dates and times, often with capped student counts to ensure individual attention. We recommend checking our current schedule frequently as sessions are updated weekly. ## About The Danceworx I am Ashley Lobo, and at The Danceworx, we treat every workshop as a chance to refine your craft. We do not just teach steps; we build the technical foundation you need to express yourself honestly, whether you are in the studio or on a professional stage.
