Whether it is a contemporary solo workshop or a ballet masterclass with guest artists from the Japan Foundation, the focus is on intensive technique and industry-standard feedback. You are here to challenge your current limits and pick up tools that professional dancers use on global stages, not just to learn a quick routine. ### Why We Host Workshops We believe that real growth happens when you are exposed to perspectives outside your daily routine. While our core curriculum at The Danceworx provides the technical foundation, our workshops and masterclasses serve as a pressure test for your skills. We invite guest artists from around the world to ensure our students understand global trends, different stylistic approaches, and the discipline required for a professional career. ### What You Can Expect - **Technical Rigour:** Expect sessions that demand focus. We maintain a professional environment, meaning you should be prepared for disciplined drills, critique, and high-energy training. - **Guest Artist Collaborations:** We frequently partner with international bodies like the Japan Foundation to bring visiting masters to our studios in Mumbai and Gurgaon. These aren't just performances; they are interactive learning opportunities. - **Direct Mentorship:** Many of our workshops are led by our Artistic Director, Ashley Lobo. These sessions are designed to break through the plateau many dancers hit, offering insights into his specific methodologies and the realities of working in the international dance circuit. ### Who Should Attend Our workshops are open to anyone serious about their craft. Whether you are currently training in our full-time programs or are an external dancer looking to understand the 'Danceworx way' before committing to a longer course, these classes provide an honest look at our training philosophy. Check our schedule for sessions in Bandra, Andheri, and across our Gurgaon studios. Participation is based on capacity, and we recommend booking early to ensure you get personal feedback from the faculty. ## About The Danceworx We believe foundation builds fancy, and our workshops are designed to prove it. Whether you are aiming for a professional career or just looking to break a plateau in your current training, we bring in international perspectives to sharpen your technique. Join us to train with the best.
