## About Professional Dance Certificate Program

### Why This Program Feels Different

I’ve seen how real dance comes alive only when you’re solid on the basics. Our program isn’t about fancy moves straight away - we drill technique and discipline first, so you build strong roots before anything else. That’s how you get your own swag, your own style.

### What You’ll Learn

- The curriculum matches international dance training program standards, but it’s set up so you can manage school or work too.
- We go deep into Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Jazz Funk - the styles that give you an edge everywhere.
- You won’t just copy steps - I push you to find your own artistic voice, beyond just following the crowd.

### Who Teaches You

- Trainers come from all over, so you’re not stuck with just local ideas.
- You’ll get exposed to a mix of global techniques and real-world dance company experience.

### What Happens Next

- Our certificate opens up global dance career opportunities, with alumni in film, theatre, and international dance companies.
- Some students even bag scholarships in places like the UK, Germany, and the USA.
- You’ll get stage experience in our showcases - not just classroom practice.

### Who Should Think About This

- If you’re between 11 and 35 and serious about dance, this is for you.
- The course is for those who want to work hard, commit, and take their shot for real.
- Entry is through audition, so you need to show your dedication right from the start.

## Meet your expert

### My story

Ashley here, Artistic Director at The Danceworx. Been at it for 25+ years, building a dance space in India that’s got real international vibes. Saw loads of raw talent, but it needed proper training, not just flashy steps. So yeah, 'Foundation builds fancy' is our thing. I cooked up Prana Paint™ – it’s about breath, touch, moving real, not fake. Our dancers? They’re killing it abroad, from Germany to Jerusalem. Watching our crew perform worldwide, that’s the real win for us.

### My work

- **Dance Styles We Teach**: Classes for kids and adults in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary dance, Jazz Funk, plus workshops like Hip Hop and Heels.
- **Foundation First**: We focus on strong basics – technique comes before fancy moves. Real creativity starts here.
- **Everyone Can Dance**: Beginner kids, adults, pros – our doors are open. No one’s left out.
- **Go Pro, Go Global**: Our Professional Dance Certificate helps dancers hit international stages and film or theatre gigs.
- **Prana Paint™ Technique**: Ashley’s own method – breathing, touch, and honest movement for deeper, real storytelling.
- **Performance Opportunities**: From our Box Theatre to big showcases, we get you on stage. Learning happens when you perform.
