Because I limit the group to just two guest dogs and keep a close eye on interactions as a behaviorist, I can facilitate introductions that actually stick. You won't find stressful cages here; instead, your pet will likely be napping on a sofa with a new friend by the second day. My approach to these 'harmonious households' isn't about forced interaction. It's about creating a safe, neutral space where everyone understands their boundaries. Whether it's Merlin the cat chilling on the bed unfazed by a dog, or Pihu the cat keeping the peace with visiting Frenchies, the goal is always low-stress coexistence. I don’t just board your pets; I manage the energy. Because I keep the pack size extremely small—never more than two guest dogs—I can monitor every sniff and wag. If a dog is reactive or a cat is particularly shy, I have the professional experience to manage that transition. We use positive reinforcement to help them understand each other's boundaries, ensuring your cat doesn't feel hunted and your dog doesn't feel hyper-stimulated. Many of my regulars, like Pihu or our resident dogs Pumpkin and Daisy, have become experts at this. They set the tone. New visitors often arrive nervous but settle into the routine within hours because they see the resident pets are relaxed.
