Whether I am painting landscapes on natural wood slices or adding spiritual details to glass, I love turning everyday objects into something personal. Here is a look at my recent experiments. ## Photos and videos - [Video: Painting is my passion, and I love working on unconventional canvases. Here, I painted a colorful Ganesha mural directly onto glass cupboard doors, creating a unique and auspicious entrance for a temple or room.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/042bc51c-c217-4540-b57f-316a8715df24) ## About More Artistic Works Painting on unconventional surfaces like glass or raw wood is a different game than working on a standard wall. Glass is non-porous and slippery, so I use specific paints and sealants that ensure the design sticks and does not chip over time. If you have an odd-shaped surface or a specific object you want to personalize, tell me about it, and we can figure out the right technique together. ### Beyond the Canvas I believe that art should be accessible and part of your daily environment. You do not always need a massive empty wall to display a piece. Sometimes, the smallest object—a wooden coaster, an old glass panel, or a random piece of scrap wood—becomes the most interesting canvas. ### My Approach to Surfaces **Glass Murals:** Painting on glass requires extra precision because the surface is smooth and unforgiving. When I paint Ganesha motifs or spiritual patterns on glass cupboard doors or temple panels, I use professional-grade paints that cure properly. This ensures the design stays vibrant and durable even when you clean the glass regularly. **Natural Wood Art:** Working with raw wood slices allows me to bring nature inside. Since wood is organic, it has its own texture, grain, and imperfections. I prefer to incorporate these into the painting rather than hide them, making every landscape or design feel like a natural part of the wood piece itself. **Collaborative Design:** Every project starts with a conversation. Since these pieces are custom, I want to understand what you are looking for. Do you have a sentimental object gathering dust? Is there a glass panel that feels too plain? We can discuss the finish, the level of detail, and the best way to make your idea work on that specific material. It is about creating something that feels truly yours. ## About Rimjhim Hi, I am Rimjhim. I believe art should be everywhere, not just on canvas.
