Before we place a single planter, we focus on essential waterproofing and drainage to ensure your rooftop stays beautiful without risking dampness below. We select hardy plants that handle local weather and layout furniture that turns a neglected slab into a functional extension of your living room. A terrace is not just an outdoor area; it is a lifestyle upgrade. At The Chhat Studio, we approach rooftop garden design with the same rigour we apply to interior spaces. We begin by assessing the structural load and waterproofing needs, which are often the most overlooked factors in terrace landscaping. ### Our Approach to Rooftop Escapes - **Space Optimization:** Whether you have a compact balcony or a sprawling rooftop, we use vertical gardening techniques like trellises and wall-mounted planters to maximize greenery without cluttering your floor space. - **Climate-Ready Planting:** Delhi weather is demanding. We select drought-resistant and wind-hardy plants, such as bougainvillea or ornamental grasses, that thrive with minimal fuss. - **Furniture and Flow:** We treat the roof like an outdoor living room. This means choosing all-weather furniture, placing seating to capture the best views, and incorporating shade solutions like pergolas or umbrellas to keep the area usable throughout the day. - **Lighting and Ambience:** Your terrace shouldn't go dark at sunset. We integrate smart lighting, such as profile lights and warm accents, to create an inviting atmosphere for evening entertaining. We provide professional design services for bungalows, row houses, and apartments across Delhi NCR. From the initial 2D layout to site supervision, we ensure that your vision for an outdoor sanctuary becomes a tangible reality. Let us help you convert that empty concrete slab into your new favourite corner of the house. ## About The Chhat Studio I'm Priya, and I believe your terrace shouldn't just be an empty slab of concrete.
