Instead of sugary dough, I use high-quality keepsake toy toppers, edible wafer prints, and hand-piped buttercream to get those sharp character details. It keeps the cake lighter and tastier, so you get all the visual excitement of your favorite theme without the cloying, rubbery sweetness of fondant. My kitchen is where we trade fondant for flavor. When you ask for a superhero or a space-themed cake, we don't just paste a sticker on it. We build it with intent. For character cakes like Avengers or Tom & Jerry, I often source high-quality plastic figurines. These aren't just for show; they double as keepsakes your child can play with long after the party ends. For background textures—like the 'dirt' on a construction cake or the 'grass' in a jungle scene—I use piping techniques and crushed cookies, not hard sugar paste. Everything is 100% eggless and maida-free, using whole wheat or almond sponges that are dense enough to hold the weight of these toppers. Because I skip the fondant, the taste profile stays true to the ganache and fresh whipped cream I use. Whether you need a small bento-style theme cake for a quick celebration or a multi-tier structure for a big birthday bash, the process is the same: tell me the story you want to tell, and I’ll bake it into reality. Please remember to book at least 3-4 days in advance for complex themes so I have time to source the perfect toppers. ## About The Chef Patissier Hi, I'm Ritu.
