Whether it's a portrait of a loved one or a special birth announcement, I paint every detail to make sure it captures the memory perfectly. ## Photos and videos - [Video: A client wanted a truly special keepsake for her newborn niece. We designed this dreamy canvas together, with the baby's name, birth details, and even a little space for her first footprints. It’s more than a gift, it’s the beginning of a beautiful story.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/51a5b5f2-1f91-4ed5-9a95-cf0e06d30eda) - [Video: I took a break from painting portraits because it started to feel like a job. But I'm back. This was my first portrait after the patch up, and I remembered how much I love capturing people's faces on canvas. I'm now accepting custom portrait orders again.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/6da67c81-3d6c-474d-b55d-e6e7556d2f0d) - [Video: Someone asked if I'm a scammer. Well, I put in all this effort to paint custom portraits and create crochet bouquets just to scam you. A little small business humor for you.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/994cf904-be55-4ae4-8499-f94ef4e41fdd) ## About Custom Portraits & Canvases When you order a custom portrait or birth canvas, I work closely with you to make sure every detail, from the brush strokes to the colors, matches the memory you want to keep. I use professional-grade acrylics on rigid canvas boards and apply a clear protective varnish so your art stays vibrant, whether it is a portrait of a loved one or a keepsake for a newborn. There was a time I actually stopped doing portraits because I felt I was losing the heart in it, but I realized I missed the connection too much. Painting faces and birth details is not just about putting paint on a board. It is about capturing a moment and turning it into something you can feel. Whether it is an 8 to 10 inch canvas for a nursery or a portrait on a wood slice, I put my full focus into it. I am not a mass-production shop. I am just one person in a tiny studio in Jabalpur making sure your gift feels personal. For birth announcements, we can include all the little details—the baby's name, their birth weight, the time of arrival, and illustrative elements like stars or clouds. It makes for such a special way to welcome a little one. If you are looking for a custom portrait, send me a reference photo that truly speaks to you, and we can figure out the best style together. Every order gets my full attention, so let's make something meaningful. ## About Buddy Handmades I'm Resham, the one-woman team behind Buddy Handmades. I create these hand-painted canvases from my little Jabalpur studio because I believe every memory deserves a bit of color and care. I'm currently open for new portrait orders and would love to help you turn a special photo into something you can hold onto.
