It is not just a cake, it is the main event of your party. ## Photos and videos - [Video: The ultimate surprise for your celebration. Light the top layer of this custom burn away cake to reveal a hidden message or photo underneath. It's pure theatre and a moment your guests will never forget.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/704fcf37-e4ba-4d43-95c2-fff34800ed82) ## About The Famous Burn Away Cake These cakes are pure theatre. The top layer is made of edible wafer paper that safely ignites to reveal the custom message or photo printed on the layer below. Because I refuse to use compound chocolate or cheap alternatives, this is one viral trend that actually tastes as good as the reveal looks. Just give me a little heads-up on your design so we can prep the surprise perfectly. ### How the Burn Away Reveal Works It is simple but effective. We use a high-quality edible wafer paper for the top layer, which burns clean and quick to expose the second, personalized layer underneath. Whether it is a gender reveal, a birthday surprise, or a secret proposal, we handle the printing of your photo or text with food-safe edible ink. ### Quality Over Everything Most places use compound chocolate and vegetable oil mixes because it is cheaper. Not here. Every cake I make, including our burn-away variants, uses pure couverture chocolate and real butter. You get that rich, deep flavour that compound chocolate just cannot mimic. ### Customization & Timing Good things take time. Because we prep these with custom prints and structural support to ensure the reveal goes smoothly, we need a bit of advance notice. If you have a specific theme or a chaotic idea, let us know. We love a challenge, and as long as it involves cake, we are usually in. We can deliver these across Bengaluru, or you can pick them up fresh from our HSR or Indiranagar studios. ### A Quick Note on Safety We provide clear instructions on how to light the cake safely. It is a controlled, fun moment, but treat it like lighting a candle—have a little caution, and keep an eye on it until the reveal is complete. ## About The Brownie Circles I'm Gautam. I started this journey because I was tired of finding bad desserts in Bangalore, and now I'm obsessed with bringing your celebration ideas to life.
