## About Bespoke Invitations & Event Stationery

When you hold a handwritten invitation, the texture of the paper and the weight of the wax seal say more than a digital file ever could. I use 300 GSM watercolor paper and custom-dyed ribbons to ensure these aren't just notifications, but keepsakes your guests will want to hold onto long after the celebration ends.

Every piece I create begins with a blank page and a pen, free from digital shortcuts. This is vital because handwriting carries an energy that machine-printed text cannot replicate. When I work on traditional Kankotri Lekhan or modern wedding scrolls, I am not just writing names; I am layering emotions into the paper.

### Why Hand-Lettered Details Matter
Your guests often make their first impression of an event based on the invitation. If you choose a scroll tied with a silk ribbon or a card with gold-gilded edges, you are telling them that their presence is valued. I specialise in:

* **Traditional & Modern Scripts:** Whether you need classic Copperplate or Devanagari calligraphy for a traditional wedding invite, I adapt the script to match the tone of your celebration.
* **Material Selection:** I work primarily with deckled-edge cotton paper and high-quality cardstock. I also source glass or wooden keepsake boxes for scroll invitations, transforming the unboxing into an experience.
* **Custom Finishing:** From custom wax seals with your initials to hand-painted watercolor florals that match your wedding theme, no detail is too small.

### The Process
I work closely with you to understand the spirit of your event. For a recent 25th-anniversary project, we used a bold black and silver theme throughout the stationery, which required meticulous planning to ensure the silver ink showed perfectly on the black cardstock. If you are planning a sit-down dinner or a formal function, I can also provide handwritten place cards and envelope addressing that ties your entire event aesthetic together.
