## About Event Choreography

### Not Just a Studio - It’s Our Dance Lab

I call our space a ‘laboratory’ because we don’t just repeat the same old steps. Every event gets its own mad scientist moment - we experiment, laugh, and build something that fits your story, not just any story.

### Who We Groove With

- Weddings & sangeets (yup, full-on family flashmob or that awkward-but-cute couple dance)
- Corporate parties, annual days, and team-building - we’ve turned meeting rooms into dance floors
- Big stage shows and productions (like when we took a serious topic like mental health and made it move)
- Brand flashmobs or attention-grabbing gigs in public spaces

I’ve worked with absolute beginners and pros alike. If you think you have two left feet, you’ll fit right in. Our annual ‘ABUNDANCE’ show proves it - we train over 150 first-timers every year for a pro-level stage.

### How We Make It Happen

- We start with your vibe, your story, your music
- My team’s got skills in acting, stage presence, and those tiny details (props, formations, expressions) that make a custom event dance performance stand out
- We obsess over making even group flashmob choreography feel easy and fun

### If You’re Nervous, All The Better

Scared of dancing in public? Perfect. We love helping folks surprise themselves. It’s not about perfection - it’s about energy and memories.

Aa jao, milke kuch naya banate hain! (Come, let’s create something new together!)

## Meet your expert

### My story

Hey, we’re The Backyard Groovers – not your regular dance studio. Started up in Gurgaon by Sandeep Chugh, who’s danced with big Bollywood names and rocked over 1400 shows. For us, dance is about letting loose, messing up, and finding your groove. Our place is a full-on lab, not just for pros but for anyone wanting to try. Some of our teachers were once students here – it’s all about growing together. Two studios now, Palam Vihar and Gurgaon. Come vibe with us.

### My work

- **All Kinds of Dance Classes**: Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Heels, Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak, Contemporary – plus voice training. Loads to pick from.
- **No Judgement, All Levels Welcome**: Beginner, pro, young or old – we got you. It’s a safe space to try, mess up, and learn.
- **Expressive Movement Workshops**: We go past steps – breath, energy, self-love, and presence. Dance helps you find yourself.
- **Professional Dance Programme**: For serious dancers, we’ve got a deep-dive course – technique, teaching, performing, discipline.
- **Real Stage Performance Showcase**: Forget just reels. Our ‘ABUNDANCE’ show puts you on a big stage with costumes, props, full-on experience.
