Each student painted just one small part of a larger portrait, and the magic was only revealed when all the pieces came together. We work with a specific 'Thinking Curriculum' where students learn to mix media, solve problems, and document their process. If your child comes home with messy hands and a wild story about their project, we know we have done our job right. Our studio in Prabhadevi is designed to be a creative home rather than a rigid classroom. We have purposefully kept our cohorts small, usually between 6 to 10 students, so that our faculty can provide actual mentorship instead of just giving instructions. We structure our work based on age and intent: * **For Kids (3-12):** We focus on sensory exploration and imaginative play. Whether it is turning donated shoes into sculptures or designing board games for road safety, the goal is to build confidence and fine motor skills through fun. * **For Teens (13+):** This is where we get serious about portfolio preparation. We run intensives that mimic the rigor of design schools like NID or Parsons. We help students build a portfolio that reflects their unique voice, not just their technical ability to shade or sketch. * **For Adults:** Many of our students are rediscovering art after years away from it. Our foundation courses provide a non-judgmental space to experiment with materials like charcoal, printmaking, and clay without the pressure to produce a gallery-ready masterpiece on day one. Every quarter culminates in a review of the student's process journals, not just their final canvases. We believe that by understanding how to ideate, experiment, and even fail, students become better thinkers. If you are ready to stop copying and start creating, visit us to see the studio in action. ## About Purnima Sampat I started this studio because art is about what is in your head, not just what you draw. We are a family here, guiding students to find their own voice through everything from printmaking to 3D design. My team and I are here to help you get messy, break the rules, and think differently.
