You will learn to carve textures directly into your clay pieces using the sgraffito technique, and we handle the glazing and firing process in-house, so you simply return to collect your finished, food-safe ceramic work. At The Art Room, we believe clay is the ultimate medium for tactile expression. Our ceramics workshops in Sector 50, Gurugram, strip away the intimidation factor often associated with traditional pottery wheels. We specialize in hand-building, which allows students to control every shape, curve, and texture with their own hands. In our classes, you will explore the full cycle of ceramics. We start with slab-building or pinching techniques to create functional items like platters, brush holders, or sculptural wall hangings. A popular part of our curriculum is the sgraffito technique, where you carve intricate patterns through layers of colored glaze to reveal the raw clay underneath. It is messy, meditative, and rewarding. Whether you are a child discovering pottery for the first time or an adult looking for a creative escape, our approach remains the same: focus on the process rather than seeking perfection. We provide all professional-grade stoneware clay, tools, and aprons. Because we handle the entire drying, glazing, and kiln-firing process in our studio, you do not need to worry about the technical setup. You simply shape your piece, choose your finish, and return to collect your work once it has been fired to durability. From team-building events to our kids' summer camps, our studio is designed to be a collaborative space for making things that last. ## About The Art Room We are a creative studio in Nirvana, Gurugram, where we trade screens for clay and digital perfection for handmade character.
