Every piece I create is finished with a protective artist varnish to guard against dust and fading, and I hand-pack each canvas myself to ensure it arrives at your doorstep ready to hang. These works are not reproductions; they are one-of-a-kind originals that capture a fleeting moment of my own self-discovery and creative exploration. My originals are where I step away from client briefs and dive into my own narrative. Whether it is a piece like 'Recuperation,' which explores themes of renewal through an astronaut in a tropical landscape, or a work depicting female strength, my focus remains on storytelling. ### The Creative Process I primarily work with acrylics on high-quality stretched canvas, but I often experiment with layers of clay, texture paste, and gold leaf. This gives the paintings a 3D tactile quality that changes as the light hits them throughout the day. Because these are original works, I obsess over the finish. Every painting is double-coated with Arfina artist varnish, which ensures that your piece remains protected from UV rays and dust for years to come. ### Finding the Right Piece Most of my originals fall within the 12x16 to 24x24 inch range, making them versatile for living rooms, hallways, or home offices. When you bring an original into your home, you are choosing a piece that holds my energy and thoughts at the moment of creation. If you see a piece that resonates with you but you are unsure how it will fit your wall, reach out. I can help you understand the scale and color palette so you can be sure it belongs. ### Care & Longevity * **Ready to Hang:** All original canvases are mounted on wooden frames, so there is no extra framing required. * **Protection:** The varnish used is archival quality and protects the pigments from environmental wear. * **Safe Transit:** I pack these with butter paper and heavy-duty bubble wrap to make sure they survive the journey across India without a scratch. ## About Aanchal Gupta I’m Aanchal, the hands and heart behind The Art Pitcher. I quit my desk job four years ago to paint full-time, and I haven't looked back since. These originals are the most honest part of my practice—they are where I paint exactly what I feel, free from the constraints of a commission.
