We do not just prepare students for Trinity exams; we create regular opportunities for them to play at church events, school showcases, and community programs. This hands-on exposure transforms how a student tackles their instrument, helping them stay calm under pressure and genuinely enjoy the music they make. ### Beyond the Practice Room Mastering a piece in the practice room is only half the journey. We recognize that true musical fluency comes when a student shares their craft with an audience. By integrating performance opportunities into our coaching, we help students conquer stage fright and develop the poise needed for public speaking and future professional endeavors. ### Where Our Students Perform Our students are active members of the Mumbai performance circuit. We have seen our keyboardists and vocalists take the lead at: * **St. Anthony’s Church, Vakola:** Our 'Artist of the Month' collaborations allow students to perform for a live congregation. * **School Showcases:** From JBCN School events to Christmas carol performances, our students frequently take center stage at their own educational institutions. * **Community Gatherings:** Whether it is an impromptu session at a dinner or a local festive event, we encourage our students to carry their music with them everywhere. ### Performance-Focused Coaching When you train with us, performance isn't an afterthought. We work on technical skills like microphone handling, stage presence, and managing the adrenaline of a live crowd. Whether you are a Grade 7 vocal student performing Adele’s 'Skyfall' or a 7-year-old playing their first set of Christmas carols, we provide the mentorship to ensure your performance is a memorable, joyful experience. If you are looking for coaching that goes beyond the theory books and prepares you for real-world stages, we invite you to connect with us. ## About The Academy of Music We have been building musicians in Santacruz since 1990, and for us, nothing beats the feeling of seeing a student walk onto a stage and own their performance. Whether you are aiming for a Trinity grade or just want to play at your next family gathering, we provide the coaching and the stage experience to get you there.
