When you join, you receive more than just a lesson, because we take the time to customize your curriculum based on whether you are working toward a formal grade or simply playing for personal enjoyment. ### Building Musicianship Since 1990 Our academy was founded on the belief that music education is a foundational skill that builds confidence, discipline, and creativity. While we are proud of our recognition by Trinity College London, our true success lies in the individual stories of our students, from the young child mastering their first piano piece to the adult fulfilling a long-held dream of learning the guitar. ### Our Mentorship Philosophy We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you are enrolled in our studio sessions in Santacruz or taking online lessons from home, your progress is tracked against the standard Trinity College curriculum while allowing space for the styles you genuinely enjoy. Our mentors are not just instructors; they are performers and active participants in the local music scene who bring real-world experience into every session. ### Why Choose Our Approach? * **Trinity Specialization:** We provide structured coaching for Classical, Jazz, and Rock & Pop examinations, including mock exams to ensure you are ready for the real thing. * **Flexible Learning:** From in-studio groups to 1-on-1 home tuitions, we work around your schedule to make music a consistent part of your life. * **Community Connection:** Through our Togetherness Initiative, we create opportunities for students to perform at local events, helping them overcome stage fright in supportive environments. * **Individual Attention:** We keep our cohort sizes small so every student receives the individual correction needed to master their instrument. ## About The Academy of Music We have been sharing the joy of music since 1990 because we love seeing students grow. Our team is here to help you master your instrument and reach your goals, whether that means passing a Trinity exam or playing your favorite songs at home.
