Our faculty includes active performing artists like Mr. Allaudin Shaikh, who takes the stage at the NCPA, and our principal, Mrs. Samantha D'Costa, who is recognized by Trinity College London for her two decades of work. We believe the most effective teachers are those who live the music they teach, and that is the energy we bring to our studio in Santacruz East every single day. When you choose a music school, the teacher makes all the difference. We have spent over 35 years building a team that balances technical proficiency with the joy of playing. Whether you are preparing for a Grade 8 Trinity College London exam or learning guitar just for fun, our instructors adapt their approach to your skill level and goals. We do not just teach theory. We want you to understand performance, stage presence, and the confidence that comes with mastering a piece. Our teachers, including those who specialize in jazz, classical, and pop, bring their own stage experiences into the classroom. We focus on: - Trinity College London Exam Preparation: Expert guidance for all grades and instruments. - Performance Coaching: Tips on mic technique, stage fright management, and audience engagement. - Personalized Curriculum: Lessons tailored to your current skill level, whether you are 7 or 70. We host lessons at our studio in Santacruz East and also offer home visits across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you want to see how our team can help you or your child, reach out and let us discuss your musical goals. ## About The Academy of Music We have been sharing the joy of music since 1990. Our team isn't just about music theory, we are performers, exam coaches, and mentors who are bursting with pride at every student milestone. We are here to help you or your child find that same love for music.
