I swap refined, commercial ingredients for nutrient-dense alternatives like oats, dates, and jaggery. Everything is baked to order, meaning what you receive isn't sitting on a shelf—it is coming straight from my oven to your doorstep. ### My Baking Philosophy I started this journey with a simple, non-negotiable belief: *galat cheez khani nahi chahiye* (we shouldn't eat the wrong stuff). My kitchen is 100% Jain-friendly, which means you will never find eggs, butter, or maida in my recipes. It began as a personal challenge—how to create something indulgent that I would feel comfortable serving to my own family and diabetic patients—and it grew into a community of dessert lovers who care about what goes into their bodies. ### Why My Kitchen Is Different * **No Compromise:** I use premium ingredients like almond flour, oats, and natural sweeteners such as jaggery and dates. * **Freshness First:** I do not mass-produce. Every order is baked fresh after you confirm, ensuring you get maximum flavor and quality. * **Truly Inclusive:** Whether you are vegan, Jain, or managing diabetes, my menu is crafted to be accessible. My famous travel cakes are specially formulated to stay moist and resilient, making them perfect for shipping across Mumbai, India, or even abroad to places like Canada and Germany. ### Supporting Small When you buy from a home baker, you are not just getting a box of sweets. You are supporting a dream and getting a personal touch that big bakeries simply cannot replicate. From my signature pink and white boxes to the handwritten notes I include with my hampers, everything is designed to feel like a healthy hug. I am deeply grateful for every order, and I treat every customer like a member of my extended family. If you have questions about ingredients or specific dietary needs, just send me a message. ## About The Dolce Baker I am Charu Shah, the heart behind The Dolce Baker. I bake for my 'big family' of customers just like I would for my own home, ensuring everything is 100% Jain, eggless, and made with clean ingredients. When you order from me, you are not just getting a dessert—you are supporting a small, honest business.
