Because I use high-gloss, UV-resistant epoxy, I have to carefully account for how different materials—like those dried autumn leaves or delicate flower petals—react during the curing process. When we chat about your memento, I’ll walk you through how we’ll arrange your specific items and what finish will work best so your piece stays clear and vibrant for years. ### How We Turn Your Memories into Art Every piece that comes out of my studio in Thane is a result of slow, careful work. When you send me your items, I don't just dump them into a mold. **The Process:** * **Preparation:** If I am working with flowers or botanicals, I first use professional silica gel dehydration. This is key—it keeps the color and the 3D shape of your petals intact, rather than letting them flatten or turn brown. * **Casting:** I use clear, UV-resistant epoxy resin. This prevents the 'yellowing' you see in cheaper resin work. Depending on the size of your item, I pour in layers to ensure there are no bubbles trapped near your precious photos or keepsakes. * **Design:** Whether it's a pet fur memorial or a souvenir from a trip, we discuss the layout. I can add gold flakes, pearls, or personal text to make sure the piece feels like yours. ### What I Can Preserve I love working on projects that aren't just wedding-related. If it has meaning to you, we can likely preserve it: * **Travel Keepsakes:** Pressed leaves, sand, or tickets from your favorite trips. * **Pet Memorials:** I treat pet fur with the same care I give wedding flowers, creating small pendants or frames to keep them close. * **Sentimental Objects:** Coins, fabric swatches from a special outfit, or even a handwritten note. I ship across India, so even if you aren't in Mumbai, your memory can still reach my studio safely. If you have an idea that you aren't sure will work, just send me a message and we can talk about the possibilities. ## About The Craft of Living by Prerna Hi, I’m Prerna.
