I often recommend pairing stable flavours like Chocolate Truffle or Roasted Almond with these shapes to ensure every slice remains firm and delicious, even when the design is intricate. ### Why Choose Custom Shapes? Traditional round cakes are lovely, but sometimes you want the dessert to be the conversation starter. I have found that alphabet cakes, like the 'JAM' set I recently crafted, turn a simple dessert into a personal tribute. Because I bake these fresh in my home kitchen, I have the flexibility to adjust the structure for stability while keeping the sponge light and soft. ### Photo Print Cakes Adding an edible photo print is the simplest way to make a birthday feel intimate. I use high-quality sugar sheets that blend perfectly with the frosting. Whether it is a cherished family photo or a cartoon character for your little one, the print sits beautifully atop my whipped cream or ganache base. ### My Tips for Your Custom Order If you are planning a surprise, remember that shape cakes require a bit more preparation time than standard orders. * **Planning:** Please share your theme or name ideas a few days in advance so I can ensure the sponge has the right density for carving. * **Flavours:** For larger structures, I recommend sticking to robust flavours like Dutch Truffle or Red Velvet, which hold their shape exceptionally well. * **Transport:** Since these cakes often have delicate piping or specific shapes, handle them gently. I ensure they are boxed securely, but a flat surface in your car is always best to keep the design intact. Everything I bake is 100% vegetarian and eggless. Whether it is for a small get-together or a large event, I treat every order as if it were for my own family. ## About The Cake Fairytales I am Aliya, the person behind The Cake Fairytales.
