I do not just hand over a canvas; I wrap it in translucent paper with rustic jute twine, tuck in a dried flower sprig, and finish it with a wax seal because the unboxing should feel just as special as the art itself. I believe that a gift should feel like a story you are telling the recipient. When you commission a painting, you are trusting me with your memories, and the packaging is my way of honoring that trust. Whether it is an anniversary surprise or a birthday treat for your 'thangakudam' (treasure), I want the moment they hold the package to be golden. ### What Goes Into Your Gift Box - **Handwritten Notes:** You can send me a message to include in the box, and I will write it out by hand. It adds that personal touch that printed cards just cannot match. - **Aesthetic Details:** From wax seals and dried baby's breath to polaroids of your reference photos, I include elements that make the unboxing a visual experience. - **Gift-Ready Packaging:** My portraits come wrapped in translucent paper and tied with ribbon or jute. They are ready to be gifted the second you receive them, saving you the stress of last-minute wrapping. - **Custom Add-ons:** Want to include chocolates or something extra? Just let me know during our chat. I am always happy to make the package feel like it came straight from you. ### Why Hand-Painted Matters Because I am a self-taught artist, I don't follow rigid rules. I paint with acrylics, and every layer reflects the love you have for the person you are gifting. This is not factory-made, mass-produced art. It is a slow, intentional process that takes time—which is why I recommend booking your slot well in advance, especially during the festive season or for big dates. ## About Rattan Hey, I am Rattan!
