Whether you want a dreamy aurora borealis sky, a starry night theme, or something entirely unique, I create a digital layout first. This ensures the composition feels right before I commit to the canvas, giving you full control over your vision. When I paint, I don’t just fill in the space behind you; I try to capture a specific mood or memory. Landscapes like mountain vistas or serene lakeside scenes are popular for anniversary gifts, but I absolutely love it when clients push me to try something wilder. I’ve painted everything from the Northern Lights for a couple who missed them on their travels, to intricate, personalized 'Google Search' designs featuring specific relationship milestones. For complex pieces—like merging photos from different trips or creating an entire themed backdrop—the process is collaborative. I provide a digital mockup first so we can tweak the elements until it feels like 'you.' Whether you’re eyeing a heart-shaped canvas for a romantic gesture or a classic rectangular frame for your desk, I seal the final piece with a double-coat of varnish for protection. This means your custom background stays vibrant and UV-protected for years. If you have a theme in mind, even if it's a specific Ghibli vibe or a Taylor Swift era aesthetic, let's chat. I’m always down to challenge myself and turn your idea into a tangible piece of art. ## About Rattan Hey, I’m Rattan!
