I often merge subjects from separate images into one scene—like placing you and your partner in a dreamy Ghibli-inspired landscape or a sunset background—so the final painting feels exactly like the story you want to tell. ### How We Bring Your Memory to Life Every couple portrait I paint is an acrylic piece on stretched canvas. I start by sketching your outlines and then layer the paint to build depth. If you want a specific vibe, like a 'Lover' era sky, a starry night, or just a simple solid color to keep the focus on you two, I can customize the background to match. ### Why Custom Portraits Work Whether you are looking for anniversary gift ideas or a special way to commemorate a wedding, a hand-painted piece holds a different weight than a digital photo. I love adding little extras—quotes, dates, or even specific outfits from the day—to make it truly yours. It is all about capturing the energy of your 'thangakudam' (treasure) moments. ### My Process 1. **The Chat:** You tell me what you are looking for and share your favorite reference photos. 2. **The Sketch:** We finalize the composition. 3. **The Painting:** I use professional acrylics on cotton canvas, finishing with a double coat of varnish to ensure your piece stays vibrant. 4. **The Unboxing:** Every portrait comes gift-wrapped with a handwritten note, making it ready to gift the moment it arrives. I’m based in Bengaluru, but I ship these hand-painted memories across India. If you have a vision for a piece, let’s chat and bring it to life. ## About Rattan Hi, I’m Rattan.
