I turn separate images into one seamless, hand-painted portrait, as if you were all in the same room. ## Photos and videos - [Video: It brings me immense joy to make the impossible possible with my art. This wooden slice portrait was created by combining photos of two people who didn't have a picture together, and the client's feedback was amazing.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/c928d44c-1893-40ab-9df1-f88b35913cba) - [Video: This couple was in a long-distance relationship and didn't have a good photo together. We don't have a nice picture together." I love fulfilling requests like this. I merged two photos to create this beautiful mother-daughter portrait, a memory they can now cherish forever.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/9085ae62-03d1-4f09-b778-329d255b4c5e) ## About Bringing Memories Together Since I merge different photos to create one scene, the most important part is getting the lighting and angles to match so the painting looks natural, not forced. Once you share your reference images, I will put together a digital layout for you to approve before any paint touches the canvas, ensuring the final piece captures exactly what you envisioned. I know how frustrating it is to have a memory you love but no single photo that includes everyone. Maybe you were in a long-distance relationship, or perhaps you just never got that group picture at the party. I specialize in merging these separate moments into one cohesive, hand-painted acrylic portrait. ### My Process for Merged Portraits - **The Selection:** Send me your favorite reference photos. Don't worry if the lighting is different in each; I can balance the tones to make them look like they were taken together. - **The Digital Mockup:** I create a layout first. This is where we finalize the placement of each person or pet, ensuring the composition feels natural and balanced. - **The Painting:** Once you give the thumbs up on the layout, I start the actual painting. I use double-coat acrylics for vibrant, long-lasting color and finish with a double coat of varnish for protection. This is a popular choice for long-distance couples, family memorials, or simply capturing a gathering where someone was missing. Because these are complex commissions, I limit my slots to ensure every piece gets the attention it deserves. Please check my waitlist if you have a specific date in mind, and let's turn your separate memories into a piece of art you can actually hang on your wall. ## About Rattan I’m Rattan, and honestly, combining separate memories into one portrait is my favorite kind of magic.
