When I’m not working on commissions, you’ll find me here, experimenting with charcoal textures or testing new color palettes in my sketchbook. If you are looking to hire me for a custom piece, looking through these sketches helps you understand my style and the raw, unpolished energy I bring to every project I take on. Every piece of art I create for you has its roots in these pages. My process usually starts here—messy, imperfect, and honest. Whether I am testing how watercolours react to different paper types, sketching a quick beach view for practice, or working through a charcoal portrait, this is where my technique gets refined. ### Why my process matters to you When you commission a faceless portrait or a custom resin piece, you aren't just getting a product. You are getting the benefit of hours spent on these sketches and studies. I use my personal art time to: * **Test materials:** I constantly play with new paint brands, resins, and drawing mediums so I know exactly how they behave before using them on your memories. * **Refine my style:** By practicing things like calligraphy, floral doodles, and landscape sketches, I keep my hand steady and my design sense sharp. * **Find inspiration:** You might see a style in these sketches—like the minimalist faceless figures or the botanical line work—that you want me to recreate for your own home or as a gift. I am based in India and everything here is made-to-order. If you see a vibe in my sketchbook that resonates with you, tell me about it. We can take that sketch and turn it into a custom canvas, a scroll, or a permanent resin keepsake. ## About Lamiya Hi, I’m Lamiya. I juggle design school lectures by day and my sketchbook by night.
