Instead, we use fresh orange and yellow marigolds, hand-tied with mango leaves, and polish our brass uralis before every event to ensure the entryway looks authentic and glows with warmth when your guests arrive. Your home is more than just a venue, and your Gruhapravesam deserves a styling approach that reflects the sanctity of the occasion. We work with families across Bangalore and Chennai to ensure that the transition into your new space feels both blessed and beautiful. ### Our Design Approach We believe in the power of traditional materials. You will not find neon backdrops or artificial flowers in our work. We rely on the fragrance of jasmine and the vibrancy of fresh marigolds to create an atmosphere that feels like a home, not a commercial hall. Whether you are moving into a compact apartment or a large villa, we scale our floral installations to fit your architecture. ### The Essentials of a Traditional Housewarming - **Entrance Arches:** We create double-layered, twisted floral arches using fresh marigolds and green mango leaves, framing your main door as a proper threshold. - **Brass Elements:** Our signature uralis are filled with water and floating rose petals, placed at the base of your entrance or prayer room. These catch the light and add a metallic, traditional depth to your photos. - **Staircase & Railings:** We utilize vertical cascading marigold strings and small brass temple bells, which add a subtle, rhythmic sound as you and your family walk through the home. If you have specific cultural requirements or a particular family ritual that needs a dedicated space, let us know during our initial conversation. We are happy to adjust our standard setups to accommodate your family's specific needs, whether that means extra space for a homam or a dedicated corner for family photos. ## About The Curators We are The Curators, and we believe a housewarming should feel like a blessing, not a photoshoot. We work closely with families in Bangalore and Chennai to style entrances and prayer spaces that feel intimate, grounded, and deeply rooted in South Indian traditions.
