The workshop footage includes CD dresses on mannequins, showing how discarded material can enter an apparel-design experiment. #### Torsos and mannequin artworks "Trendy Torso" appears in Global Art Times. My exhibitions also show mannequin pieces such as "Avatara", alongside smaller busts. Sculptural display is different from a garment designed for regular wear. #### Learning through the material At Pearl Academy, Bengaluru, I facilitated the 4-day "Eco-Chic" workshop. Students worked on wearable art, jewellery and mural designs. At NIFT Kannur, I ran "Designing Sustainable Apparels from E-Waste" on 12 to 14 March 2025 in the Seminar Hall. I look at each component's texture, colour and form. The challenge is to see the possibilities inside an object we usually discard. Digital fashion films here explore further ideas; they are not evidence of finished wearable commissions. ## About Vishwanath Mallabadi I’m Vishwanath.
