"The Nest" in Mumbai turns thousands of discarded keypad phones into a tree carrying my "Disconnect to Reconnect" message. #### Different forms, the same curiosity I make upcycled sculptures, electronic wall art and custom eco-awards. I dismantle, clean and sort parts, looking at their texture, colour and form. A wall-art demonstration uses connectors, capacitors and inductors from Würth Elektronik. For event awards, company logos and award text can be printed or laser engraved. My e-waste mementos were presented at the World Environment Day celebration at Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru, on 3 July 2024. Newsfirst Kannada footage shows Chief Minister Siddaramaiah receiving a framed piece. "Repair what you can. Recycle what you must. Rethink what you consume." That is the conversation I want these pieces to begin. ## About Vishwanath Mallabadi I’m Vishwanath. Kabadi bazaar is my playground, and I see stories and rhythm in junk.
