Whether you are working on your doubles synergy with Coach Akshay Dewalkar or refining junior stroke mechanics with Coach Amit Godbole, our team is categorized by their expertise. This ensures that every session, from footwork drills to tactical match analysis, is guided by someone who has mastered that specific aspect of the game. ### Mentorship Over Management Since 1988, our philosophy has been *sarvangin vikas* (all-round development). A coach is not just a person feeding shuttles; they are a mentor who understands the pressure of the court. Our team, led by Shrikant Vad, consists of BWF-certified instructors and national medalists who know exactly what it takes to bridge the gap between a district-level player and a national champion. ### Our Coaching Approach We believe that technical brilliance comes from mastering the basics. That is why our coaches focus on: * **Fundamentals First:** Correcting grips and stance before moving to power shots. * **Mental Toughness:** Coaching is as much about handling match pressure as it is about physical fitness. * **Role-Specific Training:** We have dedicated specialists for singles endurance, doubles strategy, and junior development. ### Professional Credibility Our coaching team is constantly upskilling. You will find our staff regularly completing BAI (Badminton Association of India) advanced programs and BWF-level certifications. This isn't just about credentials; it is about bringing global standards to our Thane courts at Khandu Rangne and Shahid Tukaram Ombaale halls. When you train here, you are learning from mentors who are actively engaged in the current professional circuit, ensuring your training is modern, relevant, and effective. ## About Thane Badminton Academy We have been training players in Thane since 1988, from local enthusiasts to national medalists. We don't believe in quick fixes; we focus on building a strong foundation, *ek player pasun champion paryant* (from player to champion).
