## About Seasonal Badminton Camps

### What Makes Our Camp Different

Since 1988, we’ve stuck to one thing - *mulbhut goshti paila pasun shikvayche* (teach the basics right from the start). Whether you’re a total beginner or already smashing in tournaments, our summer badminton training camp is all about setting a strong base and taking you a notch higher. We start with real basics - body position, footwork, stroke mechanics - and build from there.

### Who’ll Fit In

- Kids, teens, adults - beginners welcome! We make sure you get the right start, no shortcuts.
- Pre-advanced or advanced players? You train under national medalists and coaches who know the grind. We’ll focus on sharpening technique, advanced tactics, and real match situations.

### Training Style

- On court: Drills, footwork, smashes, net play, and match simulations. All about practical learning.
- Off court: Fitness is *must* - we do stamina, speed, agility drills. Equipment like resistance bands or ladders, all included.
- Mindset: Discipline and focus are just as important. We help you handle pressure, think quick.

### Extra Perks

- In-camp Super League: Everyone gets to play in our internal tournament - you get real match practice, not just routine drills.
- Expert sessions: We bring in nutrition and fitness experts (even those who’ve worked with IPL teams). Parents can join too.
- Flexible options: 20 or 40-day camps, different batches by skill level - so you get what you actually need.

This isn’t just another seasonal camp. *Ek player pasun champion paryant cha safar* (the journey from player to champion) - that’s the dream we work for.

## Meet your expert

[Thane Badminton Academy](https://mytribe.in/thanebadmintonacademy)

### My story

Started way back in 1988, we’re not just a place with courts - we’re a home for champs. ‘Ek mission ahe’ (It’s a mission), building players who’ll make India proud, but also caring about ‘sarvangin vikas’ (all-round growth). Our coaches, hostel, nutritionists, all under one roof. Seeing Akshaya Warang win the Shiv Chhatrapati award, or Malvika Bansod hit World Top 30 - that’s what keeps us going. TCDBA, Thane, community first. Jai Shivaji! Jai Bharat!

### My work

- **Badminton Coaching & Camps**: We coach kids, adults, para-athletes - beginners to advanced. Our annual badminton summer camp Thane is a big hit.
- **Top Facilities**: 5 HOVA courts, gym, hostel, physio, and sports nutrition for athletes. All set for serious training.
- **Expert Coaches**: Our team, led by Shrikant Vad, includes BWF certified coaches and mentors for every aspect of the game.
- **Tournaments & Matchplay**: We host Thane District Championships, Super League in summer camp, giving players real competition at home.
- **Racquet Stringing**: Professional racquet stringing service available for all players.
