Everything starts with basics - body position, footwork, stroke mechanics. If the foundation isn’t strong, the building shakes. We keep it real: not every session is easy, and we push hard on fundamentals, especially for those who have the hunger to become champions. ### What We Offer Our High-Performance Badminton Program isn’t just about hitting shuttles. It’s a full ecosystem for “sarvangin vikas” (all-round growth): - **Intensive On-Court Coaching:** Led by Mr. Shrikant Vad and medalists like Kabir Kanzarkar and Jeet Shirodkar, we hammer the basics, tactical drills, match play, and technique tweaks. We know how tough it gets, and we’re there for every detail. - **Strength and Conditioning for Badminton:** Gym drills with resistance bands, ladders, hurdles - we build power, speed, and stamina. Sessions get sweaty, and sometimes brutal, but that’s what makes an athlete. - **Sports Nutrition for Athletes:** We bring experts in for real talk on fueling, hydration, and recovery habits. Not everyone likes thinking about food, but we keep it practical. - **Residential Hostel:** For those who come from outside Thane, we provide a safe space to train and rest. ### Who Should Join This is not for casuals or beginners. If you’re aiming for district, state, national, even international tournaments, and you’re ready for the grind, you’ll fit right in. Physiotherapy support is there, but you gotta work hard. If you’re serious, we’re serious. ## Highlights Browse through Thane Badminton Academy's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/thanebadmintonacademy/high-performance-badminton-program/featured) - [Video: Our coaching philosophy, established in 1988, is simple: build a strong foundation. Our coaches, hostel, nutritionists, all under one roof. Seeing Akshaya Warang win the Shiv Chhatrapati award, or Malvika Bansod hit World Top 30 - that’s what keeps us going. TCDBA, Thane, community first. Jai Shivaji! Jai Bharat! ### My work - **Badminton Coaching & Camps**: We coach kids, adults, para-athletes - beginners to advanced.
