We look at the flow of your venue—whether it's a hotel lobby or an open lawn—and design a path that guides your guests, controls the lighting to match the time of day, and leaves enough space for that grand bridal entry or a sudden surprise reveal. ### Setting the Stage Your event entrance is more than just a doorway. It is the transition point where guests shift from the outside world into the atmosphere you have created. When we design an entrance, we look at three main factors: scale, light, and flow. ### Why the Entrance Matters If your event is a grand wedding in a ballroom, you need a tunnel effect that builds anticipation. We use fairy light canopies, heavy draping, or sequin walls to compress the space just enough to make the transition feel special. For outdoor events in places like Lonavala, we lean into natural framing, using floral arches and foliage to guide the eye toward the main ceremony area. ### Our Approach to Aisle & Pathway Design * **Material Selection:** Whether it is a traditional red carpet for a royal theme or a custom-printed vinyl floor for a modern cocktail night, the flooring sets the tone. We ensure it is level and secure for high heels and heavy traffic. * **Lighting Layers:** A dark entrance feels uninviting. We use warm Par cans for depth, fairy lights for that magical glow, and occasionally, focused spotlights to highlight specific decor elements like a welcome board or a guestbook station. * **Guest Flow:** We always consider how guests arrive. If you have 500 people, we need a wide entry gate to prevent bottlenecks. If it is an intimate party, we can afford more detailed, smaller setups like a photobooth station or a 'Love' signage display right at the threshold. We work with your venue's existing architecture rather than fighting against it. If there is a staircase, we decorate it with floral runners. If there is a bare concrete path, we soften it with rugs and lamps. Our goal is to ensure that the very first photo taken at your event happens right at the entrance. ## About Thakkar Decorators We are Thakkar Decorators.
