## About Grow Your Own Organic Vegetables

It’s not just about throwing seeds in a pot. The biggest mistake most people make is using the wrong potting mix, which kills the roots before they even start. I use a specific soilless blend with cocopeat and neem khali to keep soil-borne fungus away, and that is exactly how I get these heavy harvests of karela and ladyfinger in my own grow bags.

Growing your own food is a different kind of high. Picking your first fresh bhindi is better than any grocery run. But for that to happen, you need a system that actually handles our Delhi NCR heat. My approach is simple: keep it organic, focus on drainage, and use the right infrastructure.

### The Setup
I use 12x12 and 15x15 HDPE green grow bags. They breathe, which is crucial. If your container doesn't drain properly, you get root rot immediately. I also install PVC or bamboo trellises for climbers like bottle gourd and karela, which saves massive space on a small Terrance.

### The Process
It starts with the right soilless mix. I mix cocopeat, vermiculite, and neem cake powder. It stays light, holds moisture perfectly, and prevents those annoying fungus issues. For feeding, I use seaweed granules and decomposed cow dung manure.
