Every vertical garden we build starts with a heavy-duty, rust-proof metal framework and a secure grid system designed specifically for your wall's load-bearing capacity. Whether it’s an automated drip irrigation setup or a precise moss art layout, we ensure the infrastructure is sturdy, hidden, and built to withstand the humidity and temperature changes we see here in the Delhi NCR region. Building a vertical garden that actually lasts requires more than just picking pretty plants. Our installation process is designed to prevent long-term issues like wall dampness, root rot, or structural failure. ### Our Installation Steps 1. **Site Assessment & Planning**: Before we touch any tools, we analyze the sunlight, wind exposure, and wall condition. A living wall on a sunny terrace in Gurugram needs a completely different setup than a shaded balcony in Delhi. 2. **Structural Framework**: We install a custom-fabricated, anti-rust metal grid. This acts as the skeleton for your garden. It keeps the plants away from direct contact with your wall, which is essential to prevent moisture damage. 3. **Irrigation & Water Management**: For our living bio-walls, we integrate a 16mm drip irrigation network. Each pot gets its own pressure-compensating dripper. We calibrate this to your specific plant density, ensuring no water wastage or runoff. 4. **Planting & Curing**: We use a lightweight, soilless potting mix of cocopeat, perlite, and vermiculite. This reduces the weight on your structure while keeping roots healthy. Once the plants are in, we run a short testing cycle to make sure the automated timer is calibrated correctly. ### Why Process Matters We see many 'DIY' attempts that fail because they skip the frame or use regular soil that gets heavy and soggy. Our methods—whether it is a lush Living Wall, a Forever Green artificial panel, or intricate Moss Art—are meant to be a permanent upgrade to your home, not a quick fix that needs repair in six months. ## About Terrace Garden Makeovers We started Terrace Garden Makeovers over chai on our own rooftop because we couldn't stand looking at the empty, gray spaces around our city. Today, it is just us and our team handling everything from the design sketch to the final plant placement, ensuring your home gets the same care we put into our own.
