This ensures your plants remain lush without you needing to water them daily. We also exclusively use high-grade FRP planters to prevent water seepage, a common issue with traditional rooftop gardens, protecting your ceiling while keeping the greenery vibrant year-round. ### Beyond the Surface: Planning Your Greenery A beautiful terrace garden is about more than just aesthetics; it is about survival. In our experience, the biggest mistakes happen when plants are chosen without considering the local sun trajectory or wind speed on a rooftop. #### Our Approach to Lawns Real grass is lovely, but on a terrace, it often becomes a maintenance nightmare. We typically recommend high-density, UV-stabilized artificial turf. It looks like the real thing, drains perfectly after rain, and stays vibrant even in the harsh Indian summer. If you prefer natural grass, we build the necessary drainage layers and root barriers first to protect your building's waterproofing. #### The Vertical Garden Advantage Wall space is the most underutilized area on any terrace. We use vertical garden grids that allow for creative patterns and easy plant replacement. - **System Selection:** We categorize your space based on sunlight hours to ensure we pick the right species—ferns for shade, succulents or flowering shrubs for direct sun. - **Irrigation:** You will not need a hose. We set up automated drip lines hidden behind the panels, ensuring every plant gets exactly the water it needs. - **Accessibility:** Our designs ensure you can reach every section for pruning without needing a ladder. From a tiny apartment balcony in Mumbai to a sprawling farmhouse in Delhi, we treat every wall as a canvas. We focus on low-maintenance setups because we know you want to enjoy your terrace, not work in it. ## About Terrace Garden We are Terrace Garden India, and we specialize in turning empty concrete into lush, private sanctuaries. We do not just plant gardens; we engineer them to withstand the elements while making your evenings feel like a getaway.
