Because we host competitive AITA and UTR tournament tracks, our clay courts are watered, rolled, and groomed specifically to support the high-intensity movement patterns taught in our masterclasses. You are not just playing on dirt; you are playing on a tournament-grade surface calibrated daily for optimal slide and traction. ### Why Our Clay Courts Matter Properly maintained clay courts are essential for developing correct tennis biomechanics. Unlike hard courts that can be unforgiving, a well-prepared clay surface allows players to slide into shots, reducing stress on joints and allowing for aggressive changes in direction. At our GKVK Road facility, we prioritize this balance. ### Our Daily Maintenance Routine Our maintenance schedule is dictated by our coaching calendar. We perform: * **Hydration:** We control the moisture levels to ensure the court remains firm rather than muddy, which is critical for consistent ball bounce. * **Levelling:** After each session, our crew uses heavy drag mats to remove uneven spots and depressions that could cause a player to trip or misread a bounce. * **Line Grooming:** Clear court markings are essential for match practice, especially for our UTR and AITA tournaments where precision matters. ### The Link Between Surface and Coaching We do not maintain these courts for aesthetics; we maintain them for training performance. When you attend our Level 1 International Certification Course or our Advanced High-Performance Masterclass, you are training on a surface that behaves exactly like the ones used in professional match play. This consistency allows us to focus on the technical aspects of your game—grips, footwork, and tactical planning—without the surface becoming a variable. If you are serious about your coaching career or your tournament game, you need to train on a surface that is prepared with the same discipline you bring to your practice. ## About Tennis360 We are Tennis360 Academy, based in Bengaluru, and tennis is our daily bread and butter. We maintain our courts with the same level of discipline we expect from our players, ensuring every drill session on our clay courts meets tournament standards.
