For house parties, I bring my own professional DJ controller, so you just need to arrange speakers. If it's a club gig with a house system, I just need access to industry-standard CDJs and a mixer. Keeps the sound crisp and the setup smooth. My sound lives in the space between progressive house and hypnotic techno. Whether I am playing a sunset set on a beach in Goa or a peak-time slot at a Bangalore club, the approach is the same: start with a steady, melodic rhythm and build the energy until the dance floor is fully locked in. ### The Masala House Project This is where I bridge the gap between classic Indian sounds and modern electronic beats. It is not a standard remix session. It is a live fusion of percussive Indian samples and deep, driving basslines. It works especially well for crowds looking for something high-energy that still feels familiar. ### Technical Approach I do not play Top 40 or generic requests. I believe in maintaining the harmonic flow of a set. My progression usually moves from warm-up tracks in the 118-120 BPM range, building up to 128 BPM hypnotic techno. ### FAQs **Do you handle travel for gigs?** I am based in Bangalore but frequently travel for shows across India, especially to Goa for sundowners and festivals. **What equipment do I need to arrange?** For private events, I bring my own controller. You need to provide a stable table and the PA system (speakers/subs). For club gigs, the venue must provide standard 2x CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 setups with a matching mixer. **Can I request specific songs?** My sets are designed for flow and energy management. I keep creative control over the music policy to ensure the vibe stays consistent throughout the night. ## About Pranjal Joshi I am Pranjal, aka Tears of Wizard. By day, I am finding luxury spaces in Bangalore; by night, I am behind the console building hypnotic sets. I do not play radio hits—I focus on progressive house and Indo-ethnic fusion that actually moves a room.
