It is a commitment to keep learning, keep training, and keep leading by example. Here is the path that defines my teaching. ## Photos and videos - ![I am grateful to have received my 3rd Dan black belt degree from the Karate India Organisation (KIO). I am always a student of the art, and I continue to train so I can be the best possible coach for my team.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/12631dc0-d927-42a3-9705-15b3c3fb5819) ## About My Credentials I do not just teach karate; I live it. Being a 3rd Dan Black Belt under the Karate India Organisation (KIO) means my training methods are aligned with global WKF standards, not just guesswork. When you train with me, you are learning techniques that have been tested and verified, ensuring you build real-world strength, proper form, and authentic discipline. Earning a 3rd Dan Black Belt is not about showing off a title. It is about years of kata, kumite, and continuous physical assessment. For my students, this certification means they are getting guidance from a coach who is constantly upgrading his own skills to provide the best possible instruction. My WKF certification ensures that every punch, kick, and stance we practice follows a globally recognized curriculum. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your fitness or a serious student aiming for your own black belt, you need a foundation based on actual martial arts science, not just physical activity. At AKFA, we focus on the WKF syllabus because it provides the structure needed to develop true self-defense capability and mental grit. I have seen students start with no confidence and grow into disciplined martial artists. My role is to bring that same level of rigor and passion to every class, whether it is an after-school program or a one-on-one session. When you step onto the mat, you are getting the benefit of my journey, my struggles, and my continuous learning in this art. ## About Amarsha Karate & Fitness Academy I am Amar, and for me, karate is a lifelong pursuit of excellence.
