In our competition prep, I teach you how to manage the adrenaline dump that happens the second the referee calls ‘Hajime’ [Start]. It is about keeping your form clean when you are tired and keeping your focus sharp when the opponent is pressing. You will learn that victory is not about luck, it is about having a game plan and the physical conditioning to execute it when it matters most. Stepping onto the mat for a competition is a completely different experience than training in the dojo. When you compete, you are not just fighting an opponent; you are fighting your own nerves and fatigue. My competition training program focuses on bridging this gap. ### What Competition Training Covers We follow the WKF (World Karate Federation) syllabus, but we focus heavily on the practical application of these forms and sparring techniques. * **Kumite Drills:** We simulate high-pressure sparring environments to build reaction time and tactical awareness. * **Conditioning:** You cannot fight if you cannot move. We integrate cardio and plyometrics so your speed stays consistent from the first minute to the last. * **Mental Toughness:** We drill until your defense is automatic, ensuring that when the heat is on, you do not freeze. ### Why We Compete We do not chase medals for the sake of shelves. We compete to measure growth.
