I focus on ensuring athlete safety, managing potential protests, and maintaining the integrity of the scoring table so your tournament operates smoothly without technical disputes. Officiating a high-level tournament requires more than just knowing the rules; it requires the ability to manage the mat under pressure. Whether I am serving as the Centre Referee or the Jury President, my primary objective is to guarantee a fair playing field for every athlete. This involves active enforcement of Kyorugi rules, managing medical stoppages, and executing KO protocols effectively. Beyond individual bouts, I provide end-to-end technical director services for tournaments. This includes: * **Pre-Event Planning:** Creation of official draw sheets, bout scheduling, and supervision of weigh-ins to ensure category compliance. * **Floor Management:** Coordinating referee rosters and maintaining the head table to ensure the event concludes on time. * **Rule Integrity:** Application of the current World Taekwondo (WT) competition guidelines to minimize conflict and ensure decisions stand up to scrutiny. My experience spans events like the 37th National Games in Goa, where I served as an International Technical Official. I bring this same level of rigor and professionalism to every event I attend, whether it is a district-level meet, a state championship, or a major national event. My goal is to ensure your tournament reflects the highest standards of the sport. ## About Taureaux Taekwondo Academy I am Master Naveen Chandra, a 5th Dan Black Belt and World Taekwondo certified International Referee.
