You will not find any wax, glue, or harsh chemicals in our chair—just tight, secure roots that allow your scalp to breathe and your hair to grow naturally. ### Why We Skip Wax and Chemicals Many clients come to us asking about wax or gel to speed up the locking process. We skip those entirely. Using wax or glue creates unnecessary buildup, traps dirt, and makes it incredibly difficult to keep your scalp clean. By using only sterile crochet hooks, we weave loose hair back into the loc body manually. This tightens the root and reinforces the shaft without adding anything foreign to your hair. ### Our Process Whether you are planning your first set of permanent dreadlocks or you have had them for years and need a touch-up, the process is detailed and deliberate. * **For Installations:** We start with a consultation to analyze your hair texture. We focus on the sectioning pattern, such as the brick lay or grid, to ensure the weight is distributed evenly.
