You start with paper and pencil to master lines and shading, move to synthetic skin for needle depth control, and only then progress to supervised live skin practice. This gradual approach is designed to build the confidence you need before taking on your own clients. ### Building Your Tattooing Foundation Every great tattoo begins with a strong understanding of art, not just the equipment. At Tattoo Headquarters, our Namma Training Program is structured to take you from a complete beginner to a job-ready artist. We focus on the technical and artistic pillars of the craft, ensuring you understand the 'why' behind every needle movement. ### Core Curriculum Highlights * **Drawing & Composition:** We start with the basics of sketching, light source logic, and line work to give you the artistic base required for complex designs. * **Technical Theory:** You will learn the mechanics of tattooing, including needle theory (RL, RS, and Magnums), depth control, and how to handle different skin types. * **Safe Practices:** Hygiene is non-negotiable. We teach station setup, bio-medical waste disposal, and sterilization protocols so you can operate safely in any professional studio. ### Career-Ready Skills We understand that being a tattoo artist involves more than just design. Our Professional Diploma and Master courses include modules on studio management, client consultation, and digital marketing. We show you how to use platforms like Instagram to build your portfolio and attract your own clientele. By the time you complete your training, you will have the skills, a government-recognized certificate, and the business knowledge to start your own studio or work at leading tattoo shops across Bengaluru and beyond. ## About Tattoo Headquarters I have been tattooing since 2005, and for me, this is about more than just ink. I started Tattoo Headquarters to build a community where students from all over India can learn not just the technical skills, but how to run their own studios. It is a genuine joy to watch my students go from holding a machine for the first time to opening their own successful spaces.
