My homemade, 100% organic cones contain no chemical dyes, so the color deepens naturally over 48 hours. I recommend keeping the paste on overnight and avoiding water for a day after removal to lock in that deep, long-lasting color. ### My Approach to Organic Henna I believe henna should be a safe, beautiful experience. That is why I make my own henna cones from scratch in my kitchen here in Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru. I use only pure Sojat henna powder, essential oils, sugar, and water. There are absolutely no chemical dyes or artificial additives in my mix. ### Why Freshness Matters Because I do not use preservatives, I mix every batch fresh to order. This is vital because the active dye in natural henna breaks down quickly at room temperature. To ensure you get that deep, dark mahogany stain, you must store your cones in the freezer immediately after they arrive. They stay perfect for up to six months when frozen, but they will lose their stain quality within 48 hours at room temperature. ### Application & Results Whether you are booking me for a full bridal set or buying cones for home use, you can expect the same professional-grade consistency. My cones are rolled with a fine 0.38mm tip, which allows for intricate detailing, whether you prefer Arabic floral vines or full traditional bridal mandalas. If you are using my cones at home: - Keep the paste on for as long as possible—overnight is ideal. - Gently scrape the dried paste off with a butter knife or fingernail. Do not wash it off with water. - Keep the area dry for at least 24 hours to let the oxidation process happen naturally. I am always happy to answer questions about aftercare.
