You will learn on electronic drum kits with headphone monitoring to manage sound, or traditional floor-seating for Tabla sessions, ensuring you get quality practice time without the usual volume constraints. ### Learn Your Way Whether you are drawn to the deep, classical roots of the Tabla or the high-energy pulse of modern drumming, our classes are designed to help you find your unique beat. We don't just teach notes, we help you understand the feel of the instrument. **Tabla & Classical Percussion** For students interested in traditional rhythm, we teach the Tabla from the ground up. You will learn 'taal', fingering techniques, and classical compositions in a focused, floor-seated environment. It is about discipline, posture, and connecting with the heritage of the instrument. **Electronic Drum Kits** If you prefer Western percussion, our drum classes utilize electronic drum kits with mesh heads. This allows for a realistic playing experience while letting you monitor your sound through headphones. It is perfect for consistent practice, helping you build speed and coordination without needing a massive acoustic setup at home. **Why Choose Our Classes?** * **Small Batches:** We keep groups limited (4 to 8 students) so you get the attention you actually need. * **Stage Readiness:** We believe music is meant to be shared. You will have regular opportunities to perform at our annual 'Expressions' event, where you can show off what you have learned to a live audience. * **Modern Facility:** Our Mehrauli center is air-conditioned and CCTV-secured, providing a safe, comfortable space for you or your kids to learn. We provide a structured path, whether you are picking up sticks for the first time or looking to refine your technique for graded exams. Come by for a demo class, meet our instructors, and see if our vibe matches your goals. ## About Tansen Mehrauli We are Tansen Mehrauli, a family of artists and teachers who love seeing our 'shining stars' grow.
