My approach to first dances is about capturing the chemistry you already have. Whether we are working on a slow, romantic sway or a high-energy Bollywood fusion, I focus on movements that highlight your personality, not just technique. We even do a final dress rehearsal so you know exactly how your lehenga or suit moves before you step onto the dance floor. Many of the couples I work with start by telling me they have two left feet. That is perfectly fine. The 'First Dance' should not feel like a performance where you are constantly waiting for the next step. It should feel like a private moment in front of your favorite people. We start by picking a song that actually means something to you, not just what is currently trending on social media. From there, I build a sequence that plays to your comfort levels. If you are in Bangalore, we will meet in the studio to get the lifts, spins, and camera angles right. If you are stateside or scattered across time zones, I use my virtual rehearsal framework. I send 1080p mirrored tutorials that you can practice at home, followed by feedback sessions where I correct your form via video notes. My goal is to make sure you walk onto that stage feeling like the main characters of your own movie, not like students waiting for a grade.
