When I walk into a school or perform at a literary festival, the goal is always the same: to show educators and families that storytelling is not just entertainment, it is a powerful tool for learning and connection. Looking back at the journey of Talking Turtles, it is heartwarming to see how my puppets have traveled from living rooms during the pandemic to stages at venues like Atta Galatta and the Vizag Junior Literary Fest. Each event, whether a small workshop for kindergarteners or a session for high schoolers, reinforces my belief that storytelling belongs everywhere. My work often centers on three pillars: education, connection, and pure joy. Schools frequently bring me in to integrate puppetry into their curriculum. You will see from feedback by educators at ICan International School or Sunbeam School that these sessions are not just about watching a show. They are structured to help teachers use voice modulation, rhythm, and body language to make STEM and language subjects more accessible. For literary festivals and public events, the format shifts to performance based storytelling. These shows are designed to spark imagination, encouraging children to think beyond the page. I focus on creating an atmosphere where kids feel safe to participate, ask questions, and eventually, create their own stories. If you are planning an event, know that I adapt the content based on the audience. A corporate team building workshop will naturally differ from a children's book reading. My approach remains consistent: simple, messy, and deeply engaging. ## About Talking Turtles Storytellers I am Shreedevi, and my puppets are my partners in crime.
