Whether it is Paprika the chicken hijacking the spotlight with her questionable jokes or the wise Talking Turtle navigating a Jataka tale, each character is designed to spark genuine dialogue. They argue, sing, and interact directly with the audience, making every 60-minute session feel like a shared conversation rather than a rehearsed act. Puppetry is a bridge between generations. When I perform, the stage is not a barrier; it is a doorway into imagination. My collection includes a wide range of characters—from the mischievous Jester to the curious Mouse—crafted to handle diverse themes, from STEM concepts to classic Indian and global folktales. ### Why these characters work These puppets are built for interaction. In school bookings, I adapt the characters to curriculum themes, helping students grasp complex lessons through humor and narrative. For private birthday parties, I weave the birthday child’s name into the story, turning a simple performance into a personal memory. ### Practical details We keep the logistics simple. A 6ft x 4ft black curtain booth and a portable sound system are all I need to set up in your living room, school hall, or community center. I handle the transport and assembly; you just bring the curious minds. Whether it is a small birthday bash with 25 kids or a large corporate event, the goal remains the same: high-energy, interactive storytelling that gets everyone laughing. ### A note on our repertoire I frequently perform Jataka and Panchatantra tales, but I am just as comfortable with original scripts tailored for your event theme. If you need a story about teamwork for a school group or a high-energy engagement for a brand activation, my puppet friends and I are ready to hit the road. ## About Talking Turtles Storytellers I’m Shreedevi, and my puppet friends are the real stars of my shows.
