They offer a transparent look at how I adapt puppet storytelling for different audiences, whether it is integrating curriculum concepts or providing a moment of relief in a stressful environment. Reading these accounts provides a clear view of how I transform a space into a theatrical, interactive stage. ### Bridging Tradition and Modern Learning My journey as a storyteller has always been about making connections. When newspapers cover my work, it is rarely just about a puppet show. It is about the intersection of arts and education. These articles detail how I bring traditional Indian folktales like Jataka and Panchatantra into modern classrooms to teach STEM subjects or social values. ### Puppetry as a Healing Tool One of the most meaningful aspects of my practice is working in healthcare environments. Media features covering my hospital sessions highlight how the puppets, like Paprika the chicken, serve as a gentle distraction for children and families. By incorporating improv comedy into these sessions, I aim to create a lighter, more joyful atmosphere for patients and healthcare providers alike. ### Behind the Performance If you are interested in hosting a session, these features explain the logistics of my setup. I use a professional black curtain booth that requires about 6ft by 4ft of space. Whether it is an interactive workshop or a large-scale performance, my goal is to ensure the setup is quick and non-intrusive. These stories reflect my commitment to 100 percent engagement, ensuring that every child or adult in the room feels part of the narrative. * **Educational Integration:** I work with schools to align storytelling with existing lesson plans. * **Scalable Performances:** My shows range from intimate floor-seating sessions to larger corporate events for 50 plus guests. * **Customization:** Every session is flexible, allowing me to tailor the stories and characters to the specific needs of your event or venue. ## About Talking Turtles Storytellers I am Shreedevi. I use my puppets, including Paprika the chicken who keeps me on my toes, to turn ancient stories into living, breathing experiences. My work is about creating a shared moment of wonder, whether in a school hall or a quiet hospital room.
